It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Pola, known here and elsewhere on the internet as MMario. His love of music, singing, Renaissance fairs, children, and of course, knitting are reflected in the hundreds of shawl designs that he has shared over the years. His group, MMario Fan-knitics, has started a thread if you’d like to post memories.

The Ankh-Morpork Knitters Guild is holding a Tribute KAL for 2019 and all are welcome to join.

Thanks to ganyah for assisting with this remembrance. It has been many years since we had a space for memorials and I'd like to try to make one again. -- casey
